Your compatible inReach enabled device can be paired with the Garmin Messenger app for off-grid satellite messaging from your compatible smartphone or tablet (active inReach subscription required).

The Garmin Messenger app works on your compatible Garmin smartwatches — letting you read, react and reply to messages right from your wrist when in range of Wi-Fi or LTE connectivity⁶. With the fēnix^® 8 Pro smartwatch, you can message over LTE or satellite and leave your phone behind⁷.

SEAMLESS CONNECTIVITY

The app uses Wi-Fi or cellular networks when available, only using satellite when needed — giving you the most efficient messaging solution for your location.
