An EmpirBus digital switching system comprises one or more compact digital DCMs. The DCM supports multiple circuits that are customized to meet the exact needs of the equipment being controlled. Each DCM connects to the existing NMEA 2000® network backbone, enabling it to communicate with the other DCMs and Garmin MFDs via a web display unit on the Garmin Marine Network.
With multiple input capabilities and ranges, the NXT DCM device is an extremely versatile and cost-effective means to provide full control of your vessel. It has a small footprint and is easy to install and service.
All output channels are electronically protected and feature undercurrent protection as well as soft stop/start. The channels are capable of being electronically dimmed and of driving complex loads such as LED lighting or windscreen wipers directly.
